Social Services
In-house certified social workers play an integral role in assisting the new resident and the family to allay apprehensions and to transition through the emotional adjustments inherent in the move of a loved one to the new surroundings. Our professional social services staff provides counseling throughout the resident's stay and continually monitor the resident's psychological functioning, problems and needs. They address the resident's quality of life issues and intercede on behalf of the resident with the various nursing home disciplines, family or outside service providers, as may be necessary.
